Year 4's Art project this term was linked to their Geography topics of 'Investigating our Local Area' and 'Village Settlers Kingsteignton'.
The children walked to the Kingsteignton Church where they took photographs of the church using digital cameras. On their return to school they were able to manipulate these images in different ways.
They began by making pencil sketches based on their photographs. Once these were complete the children made watercolour paintings of the scene, followed by a pastel drawing. The results were fantastic and look great on display!
