The children in Reception have been reading 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' by Eric Carle. In this story a VERY hungry caterpillar eats lots of different types of fruit (and some other things besides!)
The children looked carefully at cross sections of fruit and produced beautiful, detailed observational drawings using pastels.
