Last Thursday we were very fortunate to have a visit from Paddleboat Theatre. They performed their awesome play 'According to Arthur' to all classes.
The play tells the touching story of Arthur, a slightly odd, old man who lives all alone in his attic unleashing his imagination through pen and paper. He never ventures into the outside world; instead he spends his time writing and sharing his stories with the moon. But suddenly, Arthur needs help! The clouds have covered the sky and the moon is nowhere to be seen. Without it, Arthur has no one to share his stories with...
The story is cleverly told through narration, mime and music (with some dancing thrown in for good measure!) and was thoroughly enjoyed by both children and staff!
