Have you ever heard of Quentin Blake? He is a well known author and illustrator.
Sometimes he illustrates other peoples stories (like Roald Dahl or David Walliams), this means he draws the pictures to go with the words written by someone else.
Sometimes he writes his own stories and draws the pictures to go alongside.
We have a go at drawing pictures in the style of Quentin Blake in Year Two.
Here is a fantastic short film of Quentin Blake explaining how he writes and illustrates picture books.
Come back later in the term to see how our Year Two children get on with their Quentin Blake pictures!
