We have been learning about the contemporary artist Camille Walala. She is inspired by patterns from other cultures and nature to produce her colourful geometric patterns. She is a street artist and her artwork can be found on buildings, roads and other outdoor spaces.
Click here to watch a short video about her on the Tate website.
We drew around letters and decorated them in the style of Camille Walala.
After this, we each had a letter of the alphabet and made a print base using cardboard, again in the style of Camille Walala.
Then the messy bit... we printed our alphabet!
We are going to do something very special with these letters!
