Year Four learned all about Roman portrait sculpture and Roman Pottery. They looked carefully at the relief designs that Romans engraved or added to their clay pots.
After this they found out about contemporary artist Grayson Perry who also creates clay pots with decoration and images to express himself and convey messages about many subjects that are important to him.

Finally the children used everything they had learned to create this amazing collaborative piece to represent being back together after so many periods of isolation!
