During multicultural arts week, Year One learned about Spain. As part of their learning they looked at art work by Pablo Picasso and then had a go at some Picasso portraits of their own.
The artist Picasso used colours to show emotions. One day he decided to change the way he painted people Rather than painting them the way they looked, he looked at a person's profile and then their whole face to show how facial features change when seen from a different angle.
