Clay Play with Squircle Arts at Torquay Museum
Sessions: 10.30-12.30 & 1.30-3.30
Come and have a play with clay with the Squircle Arts team at Torquay Museum. Create clay sculptures inspired by the Museum’s collections - make your own Ancient Egyptian scarab beetles, hieroglyphic & fossil stamps or a stone-age pot. These sessions are ideal for families - have a go at working with clay, exploring new techniques and as we will be using air-drying clay, you can take your creations home with you that day.
There will be some amazing prehistoric and Ancient Egyptian artefacts on show as a source of inspiration for visitors’ creations.
Suitable for all ages, families welcome. Drop in.

Hey Clay! is a national celebration of clay which gives everyone the chance to unleash their inner potter at venues across the UK through free workshops and taster sessions.

Hey Clay! will take place from 23-25 March 2018 as part of the Get Creative festival (which runs from 17-25 March 2018).
