Collagraph Printing....

Today Mrs Kay from Teign School came to work with our Arts Ambassadors.  They spent the afternoon producing collagraph plates. 

 Collagraph plates are created by sticking and gluing materials like textured paper or fabric onto a rigid plate.  Mrs Kay is going to use the printing press at Teign school to produce some collagraph prints that can be framed and hung at school. 

The theme for the plates was 'weather'. It was a great afternoon, the children produced some fantastic collagraph plates and we look forward to seeing the finished prints.
