Last term, Mrs Kay, one of the Art teachers from Teign School came to work with a group of talented artists which included children from Year One to Year Six.
She organised a fantastic workshop for the children, which included sketching real fish and then placing the sketches onto a mixed media background. The resulting pictures are very effective and the attention to detail in the fish drawings is wonderful.
A big thank you to Mrs Kay and also to Jackson's Fishmongers in Newton Abbot for providing the fish! Please come and have a look at the original pieces of Art on display in the Key stage One corridor.
i am a pupil at rydon and i also did this art it was a lot of fun even if the fish were smelly from grace dadswell now in year 5 it was in year 4 when we did this art
