The Contemporary Craft Festival was founded in 2003 and is a
non-profit making company who celebrated their 10th Year in 2013. The
Contemporary Craft Festival has grown from 4,000 to 8,000 visitors since it
started and has become one of the most prestigious and highly acclaimed craft
events in the UK. The craft fair takes place at Mill Marsh Park, Bovey Tracey,
in 2015 the fair will take place between Friday 5th June and Sunday 7th June.
The Children's Craft Tent is presented in association with
Plymouth Museum and Art Gallery.
Based on the theme of Construction, skilled craft workshops
will be delivered by range of creative organisations throughout the weekend.
The Craft Tent Partners are Stover School, Devon Guild of Craftsmen, Devon
Weavers Workshop, Dartmoor National Park, New Brewery Arts and Plymouth Museum
& Art Gallery. Children and Adults
will be entertained by Rod Burnett's world class, Punch & Judy with
walkabout theatre by Jonty Depp. The children's area also includes
facepainting, play tent and sandpit.
