Lockdown Art Challenge - Giuseppe Arcimboldo - Art with Food

The painting below is called Vertumnus.  It is a famous oil painting produced by Italian Artist Giuseppe Arcimboldo in 1591. The painting consists of fruits, vegetables and flowers that come together to create a portrait of Holy Roman Emperor Rudolf II.

Giuseppe Arcimboldo created many portraits that consisted of fruit and vegetables.

paper cut fruits and veg, have a go at potato

printing and turn vegetables into characters!
